OK, I am selling my vintage stereo, because I told everyone I was "downsizing" so, I moved my HUGE Klipsch KP-301s (3 feet tall, 90 pounds) to my Home Theater....they're way better than my old HT speakers, so now I'm selling the old ones, and already found matching center and surround speakers for them....ok, with me so far? OK good.

I had 3 stereo's in my house. Just enough. hahaha One little one (that honestly, is better than what 98% percent of the people listen to anymore) that I listen to when I'm cleaining, or doing laundry....and the HT setup, which I'm going to be adding a 96" screen to next month, and my BIG music stereo, just for music. Ok, I decided I didn't use that enough anymore, so I'd sell it, and have 2.

Well, that plan was going great, until stupid Craigslist showed me this set of AWESOME Klipsch KSP-400 Speakers, with built in 15" powered subs, they're FOUR FEET TALL! Now I need them. Just because. Tell me why!!!! Hurry, I'm going to get them tomorrow. Or not. :-

  1. Unless you can really benefit (and then only if can buy the KSP-400s and sell the KP-301s) DO NOT buy more speakers. Put the money into the projector or screen.

It's a question of balance between the sound and the video. You want/need BOTH! So overkill on the sound will be like watching a 12" B&W TV and listening to Tannoy studio monitors.

Besides, if you resist you will have something to be proud of ... while if you buy you are admitting you are an addict. Is that the message you want your GF to get?

    Cheers.
