  1. Expect about 10-15% ot live to maturity with proper care.  Remember, not only natural loss, but you will need to cull out the weak, sick, and deformed fish.

  2. I been raising bettas for years and I get about 30 to survive to adulthood per breeding . Leave the male with the eggs for the first 2 days . Feed the fry Wardley's small fry liquid for 4 days and change 1/3 of the water each day use no filter at all till fry are 1/4 inch long. Change fry food to baby brine shrimp on day 5 . Use this till day 14 then you can feed them any good flake food just crush between your fingers . And yes you can keep them all together until you want to seperate the males at about 7 weeks old . Good luck !

  3. not to many betas r mean when together i wouldn't expect the parentsto live

  4. Yes the parents will live! I spawned a pair myself and the parents are  still living!!lol! Well, my first spawning the male ate the eggs.=(

He ate them cuz they where not fertilized. Well most first spawning have about 100-150 survivors out of say...300-400.
