I think i have a yeast infection?

Um im 15 and for the past couple of daysive been really itchy in the genital area. Its really red , but it doesnt burn when i urinate and i dont fin e and "cottage like residue"...

its just really itchy and dry!

ive been applying vagisil but the relief is only for a while...

I am sexuall active, and my last day o intercoarse was last sunday.

the itching has been going on since like tuesday.

um im always wearing skinny jeans and i wash down there thuroughly (sp?)every day.

Whats wrong with me?

how to I treat what ever it i i have,

and what could be causing it.

btw ive only slept wth 1 guy so i doubt it chlamydia r w.e...

and my m om has no idea that im having s*x or that i could have this infection...

Help what do i do to make it go away without eeing a doctor?

  1. Well, in my opinion you are a little too young to be having s*x. But then again thats your life, not mine.

    I would say, do not wear any underwear at night. Only wash the outside of your vaginal area, not the inside! It could also be bacterial vaginosis, which is more common than a yeast infection. I would talk to your mom (but dont tell her about what you have been doing) and go to the doctor.


  2. Just because you slept with only one guy doesn't mean anything, how many people has he slept with? If there is a planned parenting location where you live i would go to them they can help and they aren't supposed to release any info to anyone not even your parents, It may be just a yeast infection but you never know, go get checked out in case it gets worse.

  3. Well, maybe you should try wearing loose pants for a few days and see if it gets any better? Cotton, preferably. It might only be rashes, you know, like diaper rash babies get? So, if possible maybe you could try not to wear underwear when you sleep. Try getting a feminine wash liquid that's fragrance-free. It could be that you have sensitive skin. Don't use soap!
