  1. what's the problem? Is he just scared...give him some "ace Prom." to relax him before loading. He doesn't want to go in at all...try loading him in a stock trailer instead of a horse trailer...they do get claustrophobic sometimes and nearly all of them will walk into a stock trailer. If it's a young horse you can park the trailer in your horse lot...tie the door open and put feed in the front for him. If he can go in and out on his own and get used to the environment he will have no trouble going in on command. Good luck!

  2. my horse had the same issue so i used grain to get her on, but it took some use of the lunge whip and use of other people. But eventually i got her going on by myself i fed her like everymorning on the trailer for like a week and now shes a total self loader.  the horse just has to learn to trust u.

  3. You need to be more specific. Like is the horse refusing to go into the trailor? Or acting up once in the trailor? Or is there something wrong with the trailor. If there is something wrong with the trailor, don't use it of course for the transporting. Sometimes you can give horses tranquilizers prior to loading them into the trailor to keep them calmed down.

  4. well...um whats the problem then?

  5. if he wont load then just talk to him while you load or you might need to tell the horse whos the boss
