HELP TTC I HAVE GOTTEN POSITIVES PREG TEST AND IAM HAVING A HARD TIME BELIEVINGING THEM ?

ok i have pcos and i have been on metiformin for 2 months now. i have been tcc for about 2 years and i have never had a false positive. 2 days ago i took a test and the line was very lite same day i took another test also very lite. i mean like very lite, this lines did fade after a few hours. then i decided to take a e.p.t digital test, it said pregnant. next day i took another line test and the line was darker from the day be for but still lite,this line did not fade. i know this sounds crazy but that night i went out and got first response digital gold test, it said yes. took another one this morning also said yes. i know iam driving my self crazy but i read that having pcos can cause false positives on digital test and the other test were so lite i just don't know what to think. if anyone has anyone has any help info i would really appreciate it. i guess i just don't want to get too excited if am not.

CONGRATULATIONS!! I know you are excited and it's hard to believe but YOU ARE PREGO!! If all of these test came back positive, you are def prego. As far as the line tests, even if it is the slightest bit faint, it's still positive. someone told me to go to www.peeonastick.com... it has helpful info to ease your mind!! i don't think anyone can tell you for sure online, but my gosh how can you NOT get excited at this point?!!

i tried saving a positive pregnancy test from my 2nd pregnancy to show my husband a few hours later and the result changed, so i know that's normal.

it sounds like you can at the very least be cautiously optimistic. take care of yourself and try to enjoy the morning sickness and shopping for baby clothes! good luck! =)

when is your period due? you should take the test the day your period is due and i hope it's positive!! there are times that you can get false positives with clomid and metformin, but not sure if just with metformin,  you can ask a fertility specialist online for free about this and find others who are going through similar situations, try fertilityties.com

I would say go to the doctor and have them test for you there.  That way you will be more sure of things!  Good luck!

You tested 6 times, they all showed a positive and youre still skeptical? well, i understand your doubt especially that you've been ttc for two years and you just don't want to get your hopes up. i suggest that you go visit your obgyne right now just to be sure. and keep in mind that the 1st trimester is the most delicate part of pregnancy so you have to take prenatal vits & the like. Congatulations, girl!

I know how you feel, I have PCOS and was on clomid and then ended up just losing weight and managed to get pregnant after years of trying and I just couldn't believe it.  I had a blood test done because my Dr kept saying i might be pregnant and I thought there was no way it had to be just the flu.  Sure enough HCG levels came back and I was 7 wks by that point.  My first son is now 6 years old and my second son is 3 1/2 years old and I am having another son in a few weeks.  Each time though I had a hard time believing it was positive.
