Question:

HELP Termites Coming Back After Full House Fumigation!?

by  |  earlier

I had my house fully fumigated October 2006, meaning it was covered the whole house entirely, and fumigated for sub and med. termites (two different kinds).

Now, since last week I have found 4 living termites flying around, and none since the whole year. I am upset.

Could it be they did not do a good job the company, or are they coming from the neighbor next door?

She rents, but I do not want to ask her, and if she does have termites from her home coming to mine, could I sue or what action can I take against her property management company? Or do I have to call my company up again?

  1. The company you used should have a guarantee and come back every year to do an inspection.

Give them a call & ask if you haven't already.

    Good luck!

  2. Call your termite company again under their warranty.

The termite company could have killed everything in your termite-infested house. But if they did not put out bait to kill the termite queen (because the workers take it back to her) then she will start another group of millions. Also there is nothing to stop your next door neighbor's house or one from a further neighbor or a dead tree hundreds of feet away from being the source of those new ones.

The ones with wings are swarming to find the next place to live. I would guess they would be delighted to find a vacated place that they can setup housekeeping in.

  3. Consider importing black ants that will guard the old passadeways from repopulating insects.,the ants will become a trite snity if unfed.

  4. Learn from the "Three piglets story".

Next time buy a concrete house.
