  1. recomend trend micro house call

    www.download.com

  2. get a virus aware prrograme, to block viruses...

  3. Shame your using a poor AV.

This is what I would do:

    1. turn off system restore

    2. boot in safe mode with networking

    3. do a free online scan:

    http://www.bitdefender.com/scan8/ie.html

    4. re boot if clean turn on system restore.

    TIP:

AVG stands for Anti Virus Guard - however as you now found out it does not guard.

  4. Make sure you are running AVG 8.0, and that it is fully updated. Start the machine in safe mode and then run a full AVG scan.

  5. download eset nod32 anti virus from the web it is full version and free available on the web.

  6. Start the computer in safe mode, run AVG antivirus, delete the file completely and reboot.

  7. Feed it to chickens.

  8. turn off ur computer turn it back on while its loding hit f8 this starts safe mode then run anti virus

  9. Follow the instruction on the link below to clean your computer

10 easy step virus and spyware removal using free software

  10. Now, to be more specific:

Go to www.download.com and download AVG 8.0, install it and update it. Then, download, install and update Lavasoft Ad-aware.

Afterwards, go into 'safe mode' by restarting the PC and pressing F8 - pretty much as much as possible before the loading bar (XP or Vista etc) appears. If that happens, you need to restart.

Anyway, select safe mode and if it asks you if you wish to continue... well continue. Run AVG 8.0 then run Adaware. That should get rid of it.

If that fails, go into 'safe mode with networking' and try to access the internet. If you can, run an online virus scanner such as TrendMicro Housecall.

If that fails, then you may need to format your computer.

  11. try a free online scanner like from Trend Micro

  12. Why did you get it? Anyways blow up your computer. A flamethrower is recommended though not necessary.

  13. Your only option is to install CLAMWIN.

ClamWin is a Free Antivirus for Microsoft Windows

that uses the GNU General Public License by the Free Software

Foundation and is free (as in freedom) software.

There is a portable version of ClamWin where it can be install into an USB pendrive as small as 64 MB.

First use another PC to download Clamwin portable anti-virus

and install Clamwin portable on a USB thumb drive.

    http://portableapps.com/apps/utilities/c...

Update the latest anti-virus definition files.

Set the preferences to delete or move virus to a quarantine folder.

    How to configure ClamWin

    http://support.real-time.com/open-source...

When the USB pendrive is ready.

Boot up the infected PC in safe mode.

If possible, disable system restore on the infected PC.

Run the Clamwin Anti-virus that is installed on the USB drive to scan the infected PC.

Scan all hard drives for viruses.

    To prevent from more attacks.

Create FOLDER using the name "autorun.inf" at all your partitions.

The virus cannot infect your disk by creating the autorun.inf file because a folder with a same name already exist.

    Note: FOLDERS not text files

    c:\autorun.inf

    d:\autorun.inf
