HELP W/ Sony Handycam DCR DVD301??

i made a video of my dog and i want to get it on to the computer. i have the usb cable but idk how to do it..can u help??

my 301 came with a cd and the program is necessary because pc will not recognize camcorder without it,  do u have the cd?  (installation software)

you  have to finalize the disc first, on the camera. if your using a dvd-r disc. if you use a dvd-rw you can just install the camera program on your computer then plug it in it should walk you through the rest
