1. "the appointment to see a vet is $60

    she was only $10"

It is very important she sees a vet.

Tell your dad not to put a price on a life. :(

Maybe a friend or another family member can help with the cost of the vet.

  2. I think u may need to ask ur dad to please take her in because she can and may die from what u r telling me.

  3. Guinea pigs get bladder and kidney stones.

This is very serious if it's not taken care of. You REALLY need to see a vet.

Giving human drugs to animals is NEVER a good idea. Quit that immediately.

    Get to a vet.

  4. your piggy sounds like it has stones. it may pass but keep an eye on your piggy for now. If she stops peeing or continues to pee blood then get her to a vet, she may need surgery. For surgery make sure you give the piggy fiber as soon as she is in your care, especially if she is not eating, your piggy must eat fiber(crushed up pellets mixed with water and fed through a syringe is an easy way to get fiber in the piggy, similar to oxbow critcal care, and ask your vet to show you how to feed the piggy if she is not eating) to keep its gut moving, once the gut stops, it is hard to get it working again. Some vets have critical care on hand, some dont. Crushed pellets can be used to keep fiber in the piggy if critical care cannot be found.

I suggest going to a cavy savvy vet as soon as possible, here is a site with a vet list: guinealynx.com since, Piggies go down hill very quickly. If something is really wrong your piggy will have a harder time pulling through the longer your family waits.

the site above also has a list of dangerous meds, look on that list to make sure your mom didnt give her something piggies are allergic to. If she did, get your piggy to a vet.

  5. She needs to see a vet ASAP.

The antibiotic for your sister should not be given to anyone but your sister, as she needs all of that prescription, unless her doctor says otherwise. Also, even if your pet could take the same medicine as your sister, the formula goes by weight. Your sister is bound to weigh more than your guinea pig, so a dose for her would be way too much for the GP.

  6. giving human drugs to an animal is NEVER ever ever ever a good idea ! nor visa versa ! you should see a vet or if not you still should NOT give them your sisters antibiotic meds.you dont even know if its a bacterial infection .... so seeing a vet or calling one to describe symptoms and see if there are any at home remidies you can give her instead ?? definately call your local vet.. you dont have to go to one. most vets will give you advice over the phone if money is an issue

  7. take her to the vet or call a animal hospital [u can always ask them for advice] get help asap because u dont want it to get worse
