  1. When you say nothing at all Alison Krauss

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QjsjZWlRV...

  2. To walk down the aisle, check out Jonathan Cain's bridal chorus. You can find it on Youtube. It's a beautiful piano version, but very soft and pretty.

For the first dance, why don't you rock the reception? Learn a dance together to a funky song and surprise your guests!

  3. Bryan Adams - Everything I Do I Do It For You

    Extreme - More Than Words

    The Cardigans - Lovefool

  4. Etta James: "At Last".  It's the best.

  5. I think songa should be picked depending on your personality and that of the groom. if your religious "God bless the broken road" by Selah. For fun you could do

"the evolution of dance" arranged by your D.J.  You could also pick out a great instrumental to walk down the aisle with if words of  songs just don't say what you want them to.

  6. The First Dance is a significant part of the Reception. The song that you choose sets the tone for, and is one of, the evening’s most sentimental high point's. It’s also a premium photo opportunity and may actually be one of the few times the two of you are “alone” together during the Reception.

The timing of your First Dance is obviously dependent on when the dancing starts: right after you make your grand entrance or after dinner. Although your First Dance is traditionally the first song played that night and “officially” kicks off the festivities, it is also acceptable for music to be played while guests and family members are waiting to whet their appetite to loosen them up. If you want to start the dancing after dinner, it is usually appropriate to wait until most people have finished the main course.

The following will hopefully give you some ideas for choosing those all important “Special Dance” songs you wish to include for making your evening one that you and your guests will remember for a lifetime!

If you find yourself stumped about which songs to choose for those “Special Dances”, perhaps some of these will help give you inspiration.

For a Timeless Classic, consider “As Time Goes By” (from the movie soundtrack Casablanca) “Chances Are” (Johnny Mathis), or “When I Fall In Love” (Nat King Cole or Celine Dion).

Are you and your betrothed “True Romantics” at heart?  Then consider “Crazy For You” by Madonna, “Just The Way You Are” by Billy Joel, or “Love Me Tomorrow” by Chicago.

Or maybe the old crooners rock your world – “All The Way” by Sinatra, or “I’m In The Mood For Love” by Ella Fitzgerald.

For a more contemporary twist,  ÃƒÂ¢Ã‚€ÂœIce Cream” by Sarah McLachlan or "She” by Elvis Costello and “Tonight, Tonight” by The Smashing Pumpkins are good choices.

If you prefer more Schmaltz-free, tongue-in-cheek selections, then “Ain’t That A Kick In The Head” by Dean Martin, “I Got You Babe” by Sonny & Cher,  or “I Think I Love You” by The Partridge Family are suggestions that might work.

Whatever your tastes may be, I encourage you to be as “creative” as possible as it reflects your own personal style.  Should you need help on other suggestions, I am always available and at your disposal.

Whatever your tastes may lead to in music, remember the most important thing --

  7. The perfect song to walk down the aisle to is:

All My Life by K-Ci & JoJo

    At Last by Etta James

or Let's Get Married by Jagged Edge

Now...the perfect first dance song all depends on you

What kind of music you like......

What kind of dancing you like to do....

Do you want an upbeat song.....

    Or maybe a slow song....

I'd say check out a couple of CD stores

and they have CD's called "The Wedding Party"

And you might be able to pick up some suggestions from there

  8. To walk down the isle....

"From This Moment" - Shania Twain

    For the first dance....

"Love Like There's No Tomorrow" - Aaron Tippin

"Love Me Like There's No Tomorrow" - Trace Adkins

    http://youtube.com/watch?v=4X6I76Pc0Ss

"You're My Witness" - Clay Walker

    http://youtube.com/watch?v=E4BmAN8MCJk

"Hold On To Me" - John Michael Montgomery

    http://youtube.com/watch?v=2M-oAqBNSQ8

"I Will Be There For You" - Jessica Andrews

    http://youtube.com/watch?v=NVmboOL87mA

  9. Beatles - in my life . You could use it for either.

  10. As far as walking down the aisle, here are a couple of suggestions:

    Beethoven's Ode to Joy

    Mendelssohan's Wedding March

    Wagner Bridal Chorus

    Verdi March

    Clarke Trumpet Voluntary

    Bach Arioso

If you do Bach Arioso, performing "Claire de Lune” by Claude Debussy for the groom's entrance makes a nice pair ;-)

For the 1st dance I would recommend  "your song" or a fun, but still slow song. That's just me. My fiance and I have a song that's really awesome it's Broken Road by Rascal Flatts.

  11. I love Unchained Melody. It's so beautiful. If you and your fiance have a song that's "yours," use it for your first dance. We've Only Just Begun is an oldie but goodie, and easy to dance to. I could go on and on with possibilities, but I won't.

For the walk down the aisle, I'm using the traditional Here Comes the Bride! I couldn't imagine using anything else, and people tend to expect it. They automatically know it's time to stand up.

These are just opinions, but they're the ones I have.

    Good luck!

  12. For walking down the aisle, go with with Pachebel's Canon in D. It's the song Annie walks down the aisle to in Father of the Bride. Then for a first dance, try "Sea of Love" by Phil Phillips. It's beautiful.

  13. Check out this site , http://wedsongs.blogspot.com which have a ton of wedding songs that you can choose from be it, first dance, cake-cutting,march-in or others..

It has videos/lyrics of the wedding songs as well.

Please rate my post if it is helpful.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l0B5nXkzs...

and here are the words so if u dont wanna listen to it u can at least see the words

    Spend another night- billy gilman

    I instantly knew

    When I saw you

You and I would be forever

    Hearts never apart

    True from the start

    To each other and together

    There's nothing we can't do

And until the end of time

If you tell me you'll be mine

I'm never gonna spend another night

    Without you in my dreams

For the rest of my life

I'm gonna reach out to you honestly

    And try

To give you what you need

    With all of my might

    'Cause nothing has ever felt

    So real and so right

So I'm gonna never spend another night

    Without you in my dreams

    'Cause you

    Are so in my heart

    Even alone in the dark

I can feel the light of our love shining

We are so meant to be

    That we are definitely

    Destiny

    And there's no denying

    That I love you

    Though it's so cliché

    There's nothing else to say

But I'm never gonna spend another night

    Without you in my dreams

For the rest of my life

I'm gonna reach out to you

    Honestly and try

To give you what you need

    With all of my might

'Cause nothing has ever felt so

    Real and so right

    So I'm never gonna

    Never gonna

    Never gonna spend another night

    Without you in my dreams

I'm never gonna spend another night

hope this helps and congratulations on getting married

    ♥ Lizzie
