  1. Since this is such a dire emergency, would you consider telling us what species you have? Have you even bothered to figure that out?

Have you read any books on lizard care?

If it is insectivorous, then it eats insects. Most small, native U.S. lizards fall into that category.

If you caught it, you should release it where you found it, maybe it still has a chance at survival.

  2. You could get flightless flies. They sell them at Petsmart. I don't know about petco.

  3. all reptiles can eat vegetables. You have to slice them into small portions

  4. some meal worms mite work. i also find they like veggies like lettuce and carrots.....

    depends on the breed...

    Poor little bugger

  5. Is it this lizard? http://i.treehugger.com/images/2007/10/2...

If it is, then it is a fence lizard. I have had problems feeding small ones as well. Catch small spiders for it. Might want to take it outside to feed. Just make sure the lizard is already tamed so that it doesnt try to run away. Then catch small spiders. Make sure the lizard can swallow them easily. Set them both on the ground close to each other. Make sure the spider moves and allows the lizard to notice it. If the lizard turns its head to get a better view then it has noticed the spider. You no longer have to make sure the spider moves because fence lizards will approach by themselves and attack it even if it isn't moving.
