HELP!!! What using all my ram!!? ?

HELP!!! What using all my ram!!? cozn my computer to run very slowly at times.

on windows task manager processes tab it says 'system Idle Process is using 98% and think this might be the problem but I cant stop it

It is a virus. it cannot be removed and i also have it.This virus is called Windows Vista Home Premium.

Well the only way to fix that would be to upgrade your ram i guess.

system idle process is meant to be that high. If a program actually needs the processer system idle process gives it to it. Its not a problem

Don't worry... mine is currently saying system Idle process at 94%. Nothing to worry about, its just showing the CPU not used by anything else.

System idle Process is the process tha manages your processor % usage. The higher it is, the Better.

Hit the Ram tab in the Task manager until you see the process that uses up the most ram on top.

System Idle means your PC isn't doing anything - hence the 'idle' part.

The PC could be slow for other reasons - viruses, spyware etc
