  1. Im from Donegal but I have my test in the Letterkenny NCT centre in 2 weeks through SGS, I seen a few instructers advertised that go through the SGS route so ring around a few, someone is bound to know it.. Good luck for your test =)

  2. Yes, I know someone who done it there recently, that route bings you out to the roundabout, then down by Groody, you know where there is loads of roundabouts and Groody stores, onto the Groody roundabout and up by UL by the Castletroy Park hotel, she had to do her reversing round the corner in a housing estate in Castletroy somewhere.

Its not too bad because you are not brought into town, but you would want to be confident at your roundabouts, not sure if the Parkway one is included, and driving up by Ul is difficult, narrow roads, students, roadworks etc...

    Good Luck!

  3. Be specific, do you mean the NCT test or the driving test?

If it's the driving test, relax. All you'll be doing is going around roundabouts, dealing with traffic lights and turning on and off the roads.

A very useful tip: Adjust your mirrors so that you HAVE to turn your head to see what's going on in them. Your examiner will then be in no doubt that you ARE using your mirrors as you should be.

Between now and then, practise around the city, particularly at the time of day when your test is scheduled. And don't worry, even if you do fail, you can always take it again. I failed 3 times before I passed! Just nerves! It's good that you're getting nervous now, you'll have worked it all out before the day.

    Best of luck ....

  4. Oh sorry, that information is private and no driving instructor should be giving it to you. Your only option is to ask someone who's already done it, or wait around the centre and ask some stranger who's just finished.
