HELP!!! back shock is slightly lowered on back wheel?

Question

i don't have much time someone is stranded!!! and as i was leaving to get them. i noticed a humming/rowing sound. the back shock is slightly lowered onto my back wheel!!!

is there anyway i can quickly fix this, i have the tools!

time is ticking!

What kind of car?, thats important to know.  

If the spring is broke, your not going anywhere.  It could shift while driving and slice the tire.

u dont need a shock to drive the car, however u said spring? you need your springs , but if its just a shock u will be ok

for gosh sake, if you have the tools, just take it off.
