HELP! camera question!!?

ok, i hace a sanyo camera and i was going to take a pic and i forgot i didnt have the memory card in it so i opened it and put the card in without thinking and when i put the card in the lenses were out and now everytime i turn it on it says "lens error" and shuts off. i dunno how to get the lenses back in the camera so i can use it? PLEASE help!

I would first try taking the batteries out. Wait a few minutes put them back in and turn on the camera. It is likely that the camera just needs to reset itself.
