I am a college student and looking at fuel eficient car. I looked at Honda, Toyota, Nissan, and Saturn. So far the Honda, Toyota, and Nissans are a little bit to expencive. The Saturn Ion's are right in my price range but the consumer reviews arnt as good at the other cars I looked at. Are there any other cars out there under 14,000 that are reliable and dependable?

  1. you could get yourself a brand new Mitsubishi lancer. Its a little under 14,000.  You will love it!!!!

  2. dodge caliber is like 13 or 15,000 with the options. the only other choice to do is get a dealer used car like Chevy. Chevy has a ton of dealer car that you could look at. we just bought a cobalt for under 12,000 and it get really good gas mileage

  3. I recommend  the Honda fit. I have heard great things about it, and it seems that it is in your price range! I read an article about it in consumer reports, it's supposed to be a great car!

  4. VW golf or rabbit?

  5. I'd go with the Toyota Yaris, cheap, relatively safe, very reliable, and looks pretty good.  Down side is not very fast.

  6. are you kidding me.....

obviously if the car is cheaper its probobly wouldnt get as good of reviews..

never buy a used car unless you like to throw away money...

do you have any idea what you can get for 14 grand...i drive a lincoln ls and a jeep grand cherokee, both cost 13-15 grand...you can get anything in that price rnage, just dont be an idiot and buy new....  my lincoln cost 35 grand new in 2003   i bought it for 15 in 2005.  feel bad for the idiot that lost himself 20 grand in 2 years
