HELP! ethnicities?

i wanna know what ethnicities i look. my family isnt much help but the main things like ur grandfather lived here and married blah blah blah. i wanna know what you all think i look. please and thank you in advance =D

Unless you're adopted, I assume you're family dosen't know because your ancestry is mixed or goes back a very long way in North America. You appear to be primarily of British Isles descent. Your features remind me of people from the Orkney Islands off the northern coast of Scotland.

You look Scot to me, with a touch of Chinese, Cherokee, Hungarian, Finnish and Zulu.  One of your grandfathers was obviously a sailor on a clipper ship and brought home a wife of mixed ancestry. Your GF was a tall, red-headed man who walked with a limp, the result of a sword fight in the South China Sea, and had a parrot on one shoulder.

Are you REALLY going to assume your heritage is what a group of strangers guess it is? Pick mine then; it will give you a more colorful past than any one else has guessed here so far. They are soooo dull!!

This question must be posted twice, I answered on your other one. Blue eyed caucasions, with pale skin- like the other poster wrote, Eng., Ire, maybe German or Polish. Your family may have settled in America so long ago they are a big mix. I also mentioned research your last name, and where you live- when ppl came over they settled in groups like Little Italy, Germantown PA, Boston Mass.

A photo really doesn't tell us anything. The only way to know your ethnicities is to trace your family starting with yourself and working back. Anytime you wish to do this, there are lots of good people on this board that can give you some great tips and advice.  Just ask.

Starting with your living family is very important and what you call blah blah blah might be extremely important if you would listen.  Actually taping them would be helpful. What might seem to be insignificant story telling might turn out to be very significant as you search back.  Then with that information you can start tracing your family by checking records, but you have to pay attention to the blah blah blah blah first.

Finding your family tree is not so simple as looking at a photo or putting a name in the computer and bingo there it all is. One thing there are probably things in your heritage that don't meet the stereotype of your appearance.  I was born with red hair.  I have blue eyes and skin cancer type complexiion and a somewhat upturn nose with a little k**b on type (typical of many Gaels).  Still I have some Native American, Polish Jew and go way back and there is some Spanish and Italian.
