The manager gave me an interview as soon as i handed her my cv, my sister had a word with her beforehand therefore i got a cv into her straight away when my sister told me.

I'm going to wear black trousers, white tshirt and my grey waistcoat etc.

i always tend to get nervous and mess interviews up, any tips and/or advice on questions and general.

Also... i have experience already in clothes i work in the men clothing store the officers club.

Excited and really enthusiastic about getting the job, but its been really popular any tips to make me stand out?! x

  1. Be confident! But not over-confident. With this industry, you have to look good and be attractive. Not so much as physical looks but to make people want to see what you are about. Make sure you smell good and are pressed up. Have an extra copy of your resume for reference as well as references already typed up and ready to hand to the interviewer. Research the company online and be ready to tell them what you found out. Get to the building early but dont go in until you are about 5 minutes to interview. Maybe 10. Employers are not always impressed when you are very early as they are busy and sometimes take offense. So no more than 5 to 10 minutes early. Take your time getting ready that day and have a great breakfast. Talk to yourself in the mirror to check your facial expressions when you talk so you know what the interviewer will see. Also, make sure your breath is fresh. Noone wants to talk to someone with foul breath. Make sure to shake the interviewers hand firmly when they reach out for you and do not sit until they offer you a seat or if they sit. Sit up straight and be confident but humble. Never discuss salary unless they bring it up and another good thing is to have already researched the pay in that industry before hand. Know what you are worth and what the industry is paying. That way they know you are about business. Always smile and never offer more info than asked. Stay calm! :-) Make sure you pray and ask God for this job before you go. Ask that you say what the interviewer wants to hear as the reality is that they are looking for a certain type of person based on previously determined needs. They are just looking for you to say and do the right things. Finally, make sure to send a letter of thanks as soon as you leave the office. That will definitely make you stand out. Hope this helps! Remember, they are not as excited about this process as you think. They want to find someone so they can go back to their other tasks as soon as possible. Good blessings to you!

  2. Always remember, preparation always pays off. Both the face-to-face and phone interviews are equally important and deal-killer at the same time. There is a general misconception that phone interviews are less formal than face-to-face interviews, but in fact that is what lands you an opportunity for a face to face meeting.

  3. Ask questions about the company as well. Dress appropriately and be confident and on time

  4. http://www.lesmingle.com/  has your answer.

  5. smile and be confident. Be ready to expect questions about advice that you would give customers. Sizing with women is very difficult so you have to be careful not to insult them for instance.
