  1. When you get the test, look at the first question, and its possible answers.  First, you can probably tell that one or more answers are obviously not right.  Look at the others, choose the most likely one--if you don't know, and have enough time, you can sometimes omit the question and come back to it after reading other questions that relate to the same thing--they'll give you a hint.  (Some people think that answer "a" is usually less likely to be right, because the teacher wants you to read and evaluate all the answers--but some teachers have caught on to that, so don't count on it.  I once had a teacher who gave a 25-question true or false test and every single answer was false!)

  2. ask the teacher.  create outlines of important points.

  3. All of my professors and scientific studies show the following works best:

When you choose an answer on a multiple choice test, STICK WITH IT!!!! Don't change your answers!!!

Also studying and preparing before hand helps too!

        Use flash cards!!

Even come up with a "fake" test with questions you think are going to be on the "real" test and practice with this "fake" test.

  4. what works for my personal is looking at the notes and forming questions that i think can be on the test.. it helps me prepare and also study.. i also make sure i know the information very well and to be very exact on dates etc.

  5. always choose C as the answer. you'll pass for sure.

  6. Take practice exams.  Ask your teacher for help.  There are strategies to do better...for e.g. if an option says NEVER it is usually wrong....how to eliminate the options.......that is what you need to learn.
