  1. First off, is this thee ONLY account you have on the machine?

    Do you have multiple account?

If you have multiple, you will be able to log on with one of the other ones and reset your password (much easier).

Otherwise, your going to need to follow the instructions posted on this site -

    http://www.mydigitallife.info/2007/05/27...

  2. If you created asecond account you can go into the second account and go to control panel and go to user accounts and highlight the account you forgot the password on and look on the right side of the screen and it should say paasword reset and remove password hit remove password and then go into that account and do a new password and add a password hint so you remember it this time

  3. You cannot reset your password.

    ~END OF STORY~

  4. If those other suggestions dont work for you.

Turn off your PC and remove the POWER CORD.

Open your PC and remove the Battery within...you know that little round silver thingo. Leave your computer for 10mins to allow all storage caps to fully discharge.

Replace the battery( good time to get a new one!) and restart your PC.

Hit Delete when the first text appears. Go to the Password Line in your Bios Menu and check password is set to NONE. Go to exit and Save Changes and hit Enter.

Once Windows is loaded go to the User Accounts in Control Panel and set it up to your liking,

Now make a Notepad file up with your password details etc, (Good time to do the same for all your other passwords and email addresses etc!) and save it to a Removable disk. Label the disk and stache it in your filing cabinet or box etc. for future reference.
