HELP! i electrocuted my thumb!?

Question

I was installing a wall outlet and i accidently grabbed the 'hot wire' with my thumb n felt a second or two of electricity hit my thumb and now i got a white mark where i touched the side of the outlet. am i gonna b ok?

You should be fine, though the mark may not leave (I still have some burn marks on my hands from touching hot pans and such).

Be happy your fine treat it like burn run it over in cold water and wrap  a towel or paper towel over it and if your still not sure go see a doctor but you can also put any kind of ointment on it and put a band-aid on that's what i did when i was a kid but your in no sort of danger or anything!

you will be fine, just treat the injury like a burn, and keep it clean. if you do any more work on electricity TURN THE POWER OFF! you can be killed by touching "live" wires.

you got an electrical burn, run it over some water and wrap it up. you will be fine just watch it for infection

it's just a burn you got a pretty good jolt,i am surprised it burned you though did you short it when it touched ,throw fire? and why are you working on a hot line anyway,your bad go spank yourself,you will be ok....................tom

you should be fine, I did that more than once.

But dont sneez, a bolt of lightning may come out. (My brothers scared me with that when I was young)
