Okay, i went to the lake today. And my blackberry curve from at&t fell

in the water. t was only in there for like 1.5 seconds or less.I took

it out of the water right away and took the battery and sim card out

to dry, though they weren't really wet.At least i didn't see it wet.

Then i set it there and it lay. turned it

back on and it didnt work that great, it basicaly only worked when

it wanted to. i left it alnoe for a hour. Then it

seemed um be working a bit better. The keyboard is all messed up.and it wouldnt work.So then i got home

and i used the blowdryer on it for about 4 min. but then it just got

worse. The only thing that works is the track call. The keyboard and

absolotly none of the buttons work, not even the center button for the

track ball when you click down. knoSo does anybody know anything that i can

possibly do without having to replace my phone? Is ther a way to take the blackberry curve from at&t apart to take the keyboard out to fix? PLEASE HELP!

  1. Check where u place the battery, if there's a little white circle, there's always one around there. it might be pink.... if it is, you can forget about the guarantee. if it's not, i say shake it off in a rotary fashion, holding the screen towards inside... if there's more water it should come out from the bottom of the handset. leave it standing up for a few hours in a dry place.

    crosses your fingers....

  2. when you get a phone wet you should turn it off, take the battery out, and let it dry for at least 3 days. it sounds like you turned it on again pretty quickly. you may have damaged it by doing that. but before doing anything else, i would try turning it off again and letting it sit for a few days.
