We have already brought out the tweezers and needle, but nothing, and we think it might just be color, but when you run your finger over the surface, you can still feel the bulge.

  1. Get to a doctor because the hand is a very complicated piece of anatomy and can easily be ruined for life if you don't know what you are doing. There are so many nerves, tendons and vessels in the hand that contribute to its dexterity that poking around with tweezers and so forth could actually paralyze your hand. Please have a professional look at the injury.

And it is graphite in pencils, these days, not lead...which is the good news.

    Hope this helps.

  2. Its not lead its graphite.. just give it a few days it will work its way out on its own, stop irritating it.  As long as its not red striped you don't have to go to the ER or even a doctor. It's probably a small amount.

  3. If it won't come out, go to a doctor. At least it shouldn't poison your whole bloodstream or anything, because people don't use actual lead; they use graphite in pencils. But go to a doctor.

  4. Had This Happen To Me!

Someone threw a pencil at me and then I went to the bathroom and looked at my leg... It stays there... but put some garlic or salt on it and then vinegar and it will fuzz out..

You will most likely always have a mark there all of your life... I still have mine and it has been 13 years.

    Hope everything goes good!
