HELP! i have black hair, want to dye my hair chocolate brown!?

Question

hi, I'm sick of my black hair and i now want to dye it chocolate brown

I'm not sure yet if i want just chocolate brown hair or dark chocolate brown hair!

that would look really cute! just dont get it too light or too blonde because it might clash with your skin color. :]

I think black would look better on you, personally.

If you REALLY want to change it, do so, but black looks better.

Also, lay off the crazy eye-makeup, and stick to lipgloss thats a little more sheer. :)

well since you have black hair then it's really hard to die your hair lighter. i would know, i have black hair. you have to die your hair a shade lighter then the color you want or maybe even two shades lighter for it to come out good

Try doing chocolate brown highlights, and see how you like that.  Then if you love it, then go ahead and get color.  You will be able to avoid bleaching if you choose a dark brown.  They make high lift colors for dark hair if your only lightening a little.

Brown, if it's not chosen correctly, can really wash out darker skin tones.

You want to keep a fairly dark brown base with as much shine to it as possible.

Yes, it'll look amazing!  You are so pretty with black hair, but everyone needs a change once in a while and dark brown would be perfect with your eyes.
