HELP... i need help !

Tommorow i am going to the hospital to get checked up and i think im getting my blood checked. Where do they take my needle and what else do they do to me??

  1. They take it from your other side of your elbow. It doesn't hurt at all so you have nothing to be scared of.

Generally they draw blood from the vein that runs along the inside of your elbow.  They throw away the needle in a special compartment especially for sharp tools, so that no one gets contaminated by it.  They take the blood to a laboratory where they will evaluate the amount of nutrients in it to see if you are in good health.  The doctor will also probably check your strength, look in your eyes, ears and throat, and talk about any recent health concerns.  That's about what a general checkup involves.
