HELP! i need to convince my parents!?

how can my friend and i convince our parents to let us go to England (we live in the US) this November! It's my friends b-day and we have wanted to go for sooo long! we have things like "it would be a strong cultural experience" and it would enhance our foundation for going away to college because we would have experience of going away from home" and stuff like that! any more ideas of stuff parents would actually like??

Well, i don't know why your parents won't let you go! I would understand if you wanted to go by yourself but your with two people one of which is an adult, so keep reminding your mum about that fact!! And also tell them your being independent and it will help you when you move out or go to college. And also tell them that you might never have the opportunity to go to the UK again!!

Perhaps money is the problem here? The US (and UK) are both going into recession and food prices are rising massively.

Be a really good kid for the next few months and prove you are responsible.

Earn and save some money for your trip and show them it is important to you.

I'm sure if you have a parent coming with you they will be much more likely to agree to letting you go.
