I am looking for a new job. i have been working in a retail store in High Street Kensington as a sales associate for the past 2years, even though i love fashion i want to get out of retail and try something new. There is not much that i wouldn't do so all suggestions are welcome. I live in london.

  1. be a stripper or a nude modelist!! or you can go and work at hooters.

  2. u can try some job overseas.

  3. try this website jobin.co.uk

  4. Your first port of call should be your local Job Centre.  Any branch will do.  When you to in you'll find a bunch of computer screens - click thru the latest jobs etc.

Sign up to a few agencies on line once you've decided what you want to do next. They'll send you free of charge all the latest jobs in your line and area you wish to work.

    Good luck.

Me, I'm out of it - retired.  Keep working, you've got to pay my State Pension.

  5. You can try www.jobsindubai.com

  6. Take a year off sensible jobs and go be a holiday rep somewhere hot.

  7. have fun, go work abroad for the summer, experience life

  11. How is YA going to help you? If you want to move out of retail and up the career ladder use you noggin and go to a the Job Centre. Meet with someone there who can help you assess your skills. Speak to your local Connexions branch which is an employment and education advice bureau specifically for young people. When you have a decent CV and have identified you skills you can either go to a recruitment agency who will present you as a candidate to suitable employers, or you can approach companies directly, either by finding vacancies in the paper or by subscribing to Monster.co.uk or Reed.co.uk.

You need to seek professional guidance now rather than drifting. If you don't know what you want to do tomorrow that's fine, but you need to at least start putting the foundations for a career down today.

  12. Try your local job centre plus.It should have something for you.Go register with a recruitment Agency as well. All this of course after you`ve made up your mind what you`d like to do next.If you aren`t sure, see one of the job centre career advisors who will help you after reviewing the skills you have. Some of them are really brilliant at this type of thing and will sniff out skills even you didn`t know you possessed. Some offer advice and help with cv writing and interview skills,so do give them a try.All the best!

  13. Try applying for jobs in Fashion Companies Head Offices in London. You might get on the ladder to becoming a buyer.
