How about this idea : The roof can be solar panel, the water heater can be hydrogen, you car can be bio diesel, have solar oven, stove, a wind turbine in your back yard, a compost bin for food and other things too, have a green washer and dryer. what you think. Have also a recycle water system for your sink, bathroom, shower, stove, and for your pool too. Run your cars with water and peanut oil. Have a solar panel bike with a seat belt. what you think. I do care about the environment alot.

I was recently informed of a website by an architect who has "greened" his house (link provided below).  He explains what he has done and the energy and cost savings of each change.  It is a good explanation of what most people would like to do by someone who has "been there, done that".
