  1. Casino/Games reception

  2. The reception could be a pool tourney instead of a dance floor. Still have it at a reception hall that way it would just be the wedding party. Trinkets or gift bags could be with chalk, scuffers, tappers, stuff like that.

  3. probably your best bet is to post this question on azbilliards forums, the biggest pool community in the world.

you will get tons of answers, similar things have been discussed before as well i think.

shove it in the main area.

  4. for the flower arrangments used colored flowers in "racks"  use green cloth for the tables at the reception instead of white

hold it in a smokey bar jk

ill add to it if i think of anything else

  5. The only thing that comes to mind right now is getting some Styrofoam balls and painting them to look like pool balls and hanging them all over.  The also make champagne glasses with pool balls made on them, you'd have to do some more research on those.  Maybe have the people standing up hold cues or something.  Good luck, and happy new year!

I found a couple glasses on ebay.  The link is below.

  6. Is it going to be formal or a little casual.

    Check out this tie

You could let the centerpieces for the tables be the triangle with all the balls racked.  Put a small white group of roses, or whatever flower is used in the middle of it sitting on top.

Anyone can make a round cake and most cake decorators can do an assortment of colors.  If you want a certain number ball, they can probably make that color and design whether it's a stripe or solid, but I'm not sure about black.  Besides, a black cake doesn't appear too appetizing.

Or you could decorate the tables with these

    Some favors could be

The bridesmaids could even just each wear a different ball's color, even if the dress is simple.

napkins and stuff, but too much pool stuff would be over the top I think

    Hope that helps some.

  7. ok well lets see

Cake- have a seven layer cake with the seven stripe balls going up one side and the seven solids going up the other

Centerpieces-  have like four minature pool sticks in like a vase or bowl and spread them apart with the centers in the middle then fill the remainder of the bowl up with pool balls

Seating Nameplates- have a ball with everyones name on it

Invitations- something about mixing solids and stripes

    Bridesmaid dresses- striped

Groomsmen- striped shirt, solid jacket & pants

  8. How about she is white, he is in black like the 8 ball. Then the bridemaids and ushers can be spots and stripes.

  9. Actually one thought, in weddings performed where the groom is in full military dress it's customary to walk under a series of raised swords, you could do something similar as they leave only with pool cues.

The cake could be a series of racks, 15 balls bottom tier, 10 next tier, then 6, then 3 for the top tier.  And yes there are games that use all of those combinations.

Gifts to the wedding party might be cues engraved with the date of the wedding and names of the couples.

For flowers, doing up bouquets in the shape and color paterns of a rack would be easy you could even strip the balls by taking white carnations split the stalk in 3, the 2 outer edges in clear water, the center in colored, it will take the color up into the flower.  (seen this done with 2 colors but not striping so not sure how well it will work)

I know you can get custom printed chalks, that you can put the date of the wedding on and names etc to hand out to all.

    Good luck with it.
