  1. I have HR experience so I can give a lil insight, never worked at coldstone though.

First- Don't Stress becuz once u hear the easy questions they ask u goin to wonder why u stressed in the first place

Since it's a customer service oriented position (im assuming) they basically goin to ask u what would u do with rude customers? How do you handle promblem or decision making situations on the job? Do you prefer to work as a team player or prefer to work independently? They probably ask situational questions like- what would you do if the store close at 10 but u been asked to stay until 11? What would you do if you and a co-worker didn't see eye to eye? Also, they may test your cash handeling skills or ask if u have any cash handeling experience.

Of course they goin to ask why do u want to work at coldstone? Be honest and maybe even mention that u interested in owning a coldstone franchise one day and this gives u an opportunity to see how its run (hopefully the manager won't be a hater). They may ask about ur experience with icecream and other dairy products such as what's ur favorite flavor (i know it sounds silly but that is some type of personality assessment thing they may try to use).

They may ask if ur open to working shifts other than what ur interviewing for so think about that before hand. They may ask where u see yourself doing in th future? The questions will probably be pretty general stuff unless u interviewing for a management job or something other than scooper and cashier. Oh, they will definitely ask about past experience with working in the food industry or customer service industry so make sure you touch on things such as cleaning up the facility, tending to customers, helping with cash handeling, etc. Even if u don't have experience in the food industry just think of things that you've done that required being courteous to customers, helping with event planning (even if it was ur moms tupperware party), cleaning up after a yard sale or school production, etc. A lot of the skills that you have will be linked to what they are looking for even if u never worked in a ice cream palor in ur life (or anywhere else for the matter). They may ask to give them example when you helped someone make an important decision (which may help them see if ur capable of  helping an indecisive customer like myself). I know this may sound silly but they want to make sure that your skills/knowledge/abilities are compatible with what the position calls for.

As far as dressing always dress professional. Depending on how fancy you want to get, but if in doubt a  nice shirt, skirt or dress pants, and nice/clean shoes (not flip flops) will work. If u have an outfit that you wear to church or to semi formal family/school events then that should do as long as its not loud. I say white shirt/blouse and black skirt/pants always work. It really don't have to be those colors but just keep in mind the type of skirt or pants you wear. Dress like ur goin to court or to a baptism. LOL. That's the best that I can explain it. Most importantly (and please believe me) just relax and have fun because for those type of jobs its more about personality than it is about extensive work experience. Act like the interviewer is a cute guy or girl that u have a crush on. Be urself indeed and have fun wit it. Make sure that u ask questions too like "what do you like and dislike the most about working at coldstone?" "what are some of your busiest seasons?" "How often are the flavors changed?" "what promotional events does this store take part in?" That atleast shows that ur interested and gives the interviewer a chance to blab about his/herself. Hopes this help. Sorry for the long reply. Im pretty long winded Oh! and u can ask them how long  it'll take before you  hear back from them. That's a legitimate question that everyone asks interviewers so don't feel don't be afraid to ask them
