HELP!? mortgage advice?

I am a first time buyer looking for a house with my partner...i have a good credit history/scoring but my partner hasn't...could we even get a mortgage?

  2. It is possible but without knowing both your and your partners history and circumstances no one here can tell you.

    Whatever you do avoid people who call themselves "mortgage advisers" or "financial advisers" they are only interested in making commission out of you

  3. it all depends on what you can put down as deposit.

    try to aim to put down 15% if you can , to get a good deal.

    the situation now is that many lenders now charge a very high arrangement fee. so make sure you budget for it.

    without knowing too much about your circumstances, its hard to understand what best suits you.  

    you're better off going to see an IFA, banks are only interested in VERY secure borrowers, unless you can tick all the boxes goto a bank.

    shop around is your best bet
