  1. battery good? alternator good? wiring between the 2 good? and ignition problems?

  2. It sounds like a wiring issue.  My girlfriend's car would do the samething, so we took it to the mechanic and he showed us the battery connector cables to the battery had some bad cables.  When we drove down the road, the wires would go bad and the AC, the power windows would not work.  It is not fun when you live in Phoenix and it is 115 degrees and that happens!  So that may be the case.  I hope that helps!  Good Luck!

  3. i had the same problem on my 91 jeep wrangler took it to several garages,no one could figure it out ,so then took it to the jeep dealership they found the problem . it was the ground wire running to the body or the frame i forget which one . but it did the same thing ,just driving down the road and would just shut off.or i could even be your computer. hope this helps you

  4. My best guess baring a loose wire, is the  cranks sensor, bell housing, drivers side.

Try to  just unplug it and look for ANY corrosion. NONE can be there and reconnect. See if it get's better, Next pull it, there can be NO small magnetic particles on the tip. This sensor is usually the headache.

    Good Luck

PS Volt ohm meter will NOT give a good indication of condition.

Brakes. This depends a lot on what pads went on. Some much worse than others. Were the rotors turned at rebuild? Ok, first rough up the pad surface to cut glaze, sand paper or just lightly rub on concrete.

My Trick that Does work and is NOT as scary as it sounds..LIGHTLY coat the back of the  pads and all metal  to metal contact points with the aluminum based never sieze compound.  It does work,,do  not get on friction surfaces.
