HELP!! my bofriend needs to get home!!?

Question

My boyfriend is on holiday with his family in france, however it is our one year anniversary which means a lot to us both. He's really trying to enjoy his holiday but the thought of not being at home on that day is getting him down. He is in britanny near morlaix. They sailed plymouth to roscoff and are due to sail back late at night on the 28th august. Our anniversary is on the 22nd. How can he get home PLEASE HELP!!!!

Sometimes in life we can't be with the ones we want to be with.  Why does he have to come back home?  Can't you go and join him instead?  If not, have your celebration when he gets back.
