HELP!! my camcorder isnt working, why?

ok its an aiptek camera, not sure what brand or whatever but heres some pics

when i open it up to turn on it doesnt start at all, the screen is blank but when i plug it into the computer via USB it does work and i can access the videos. so plz help if u do ull get 10 points and ill awnser 1 of ur qs thanks
