HELP! my computer is infected by the virius.?

whne i was playing my computer it suddne say my computer is infected thne they told me to download antivirus 2009. but i need to pay my firewall wall is on autmica updates on not virus protection. hlep any i relaly eed hlep now !

this is just a spam.there are two best things to do

1) download any new antivirus(if vista go for kaspersky and if xp go for avg8)

2)reinstall your os.

This is actually spyware. You need to install a good anti-spyware and anti-virus and scan the machine.

AntiVirus programs will not remove these as they are malicious codecs, the following free tools will remove them:

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware:

Download, install, update and select Quick Scan.

Remove all infections that it finds after scan.

A very good, free anti-virus available to download is AVG 8 Anti-virus:

And for any spyware problems, get SpyBot - Search and Destroy:

Both are free, as powerful as paid programs, like Norton and McAfee, and don't use up as many resources.

Just boot into Safe Mode (Press F8 when turning on the computer) and run full scans.

if you think antivirus 2009 is a good program, google it and you will see that it is computer parasite pretending to be antispyware.

if antivirus 2009 loads alerts, reports and similar things, ignore those and delete this pesk using tutorial above. all the alerts displayed by antivirus2009 is a scam and lie.

try avast.com  they have a free home edition of anti-virus software that is pretty good, you have to scroll down on some of the pages but download the home edition, it wipes out most of the majore viruses for free!
