  1. Take him into a quiet, dark room.

He'll feel safer there and recover over night.  It's nothing major though.

In the future, just keep your dog away from him.  Keep him up on a counter out of the dog's sight or in a room the dog doesn't typically go into.  If he tries to follow it, merely close the door so your hamster doesn't get freaked out on a daily basis.

  2. just stay calm hes prolly scared and shocked.  just take the dog out of the room or the hamster. moving the hamster could give him more stress but if the dog cant be removed then go ahead and move the hamster. give it some time and keep and eye on him.

  3. He is most likely just in shock, if he shows any sign of illness take him to the vet. I know somebody who's dog got ahold of her hamster, not to kill but just to have a buddy. Well the hamster evidently did NOT want a dog for a friend and went into shock and died.... make sure this doesn't happen!!! Not to scare you, I'm sure it isn't too severe seeing as it was just a bark and no bite (hahaha, pun intended) but keep an eye out. Good luck.

  4. Let him calm down. Bring him somewhere else, to relieve any stress. He may be very alert, and scared too. Or put him in his cage. GOOD LUCK!

  5. OK first STAY CALM! You don't want to scare your hamster any more then it already is! Take your dog outside then pick up your hamster and start to stroke it. Give it I treat or two, and don't make any loud noises! If this still doesn't work or you actually think your hamster needs help, call your veternarian. Jst stay calm your hamster should be OK!

Moniter him/her carefully over the next few days.

    Hope that helps!
