HELP! my iPod is going retarded x.x

Question

okay when i turn it on it wont play the music at all. then when i try to change the song it goes threw all the songs without stopping. whats wrong with it D':

(its an iPod Nano 2nd generation)

That happened to me before on my ipod nano 2nd generation

You need to plug it in to your computer and then click restore. it'll remove all the songs on you ipod but it wont remove it from the itunes so you can still keep your songs. :]

I usualy just press the cirlce in the middle and the menu button at the same time then it like turns it off and turns it back on then its fine..

THERE ARE A NUMBER OF THINGS U COULD DO U COULD EITHER RESTORE YOUR IPOD, HOLD THE MIDDLE BUTTON UNTIL THE APPLE LOGO SHOWS THEN QUICKLY HOLD THE PLAY BUTTON UNTIL IT SHOWS UP IN DISK MODE THEN TRY SYNCING ALL YOU FILE AFTER U RESTORED IT OR IF U HAVE A WARRANTY JUST REPLACE WITH A NEW ONE OR TAKE IT TO THE APPLE STORE.

The iPod needs to be restored. The file that is associated with the indexing is bad, and in order to correct this, you will need to restore it. As long as you have all the music on the P.C., this will be smooth operation for you. However, if you don't have the music still, you will lose the songs on the Pod.
