HELP! my lecturer wants the function of creatinine phosphate?

BUT many people on previeous yahoo ans claimed that its supposed to be creatine phosphate..

any difference and what is the function of creatinine phosphate..

  1. Creatine phosphate stores energy in skeletal muscle fibers. creatinine is the breakdown product of creatine phosphate. Check out the wikipedia pages for more detailed info.


  2. Creatinine is the waste product formed by creatine phosphate.  High levels of creatinine indicate kidney problems. (You may have heard of creatinine when paired with BUN??)
