HELP! my phone got wet AND...?

Question

i dropped my phone in the sink and it was there fer like 3 seconds..

it worked JUST fine.

took the battery out and tried my best to take the water out but i couldnt take a hair dryer to dry it off since i had to go somewhere..

thing is, it works fine, its just that it doesnt show the time and it just says searching SVC.

and when i try to call someone, it seys cdma service not available..

HELPP!

let it dry out on its own it will be fine

DO NOT use a hair dryer on it WHATSOEVER! That'll only shove the moisture farther back into the tiny holes of the phone. Best thing is to take it apart as much as you can, and cover everything with uncooked rice in a bowl. That'll help soak up the moisture. Let it sit in the rice for at least 24 hours. That's the best you an do. If it keeps working, than use it until it dies on you, and then proceed to get a new phone.

I dropped my phone in the toilet, and was able to use it almost a year, until some of the most important buttons stopped working.

that's what happened to my friend's phone but after awhile it worked perfectly if it doesnt work you should take it to best buy or something
