If A={-10, -5, 0, 5, 10} and B={0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10}

  2. A U B = {every number} because it means whats in both A and B

    A ∩ B = { 0, 5, 10} meaning whats common to both

  3. Union is what the two sets have in common:

    A={-10, -5, 0, 5, 10}

    B={0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10}

    U= [0, 5, 10]  <The over lap of A and B of a venn diagram

    This leaves in the 'A' side of the venn diagram: [-10, -5]

    This leaves in the 'B' side of the venn diagram [1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9]
