my friend have being refused by visa officer as officer stated that:

''you state the cost of your tution, maintenance and accomodation is to be borne by your father. When you submitted your application you were informed of the minimum documentry evidence of your sponsers's business, and in the absence of the origin of funds in his account i am not satisfied these funds are geniunly available to you for this purpose. Therefore, i am not satisfied of probabilities that you are able to meet the cost of your course and maintain yourself without taking employment or engaging in business.''

Docuements which i had submitted is:

-Affidavit of support from Parents (Father, mother)

-Bank statements of SELF, showing more than enough Funds and

MOTHER's bank statement.

- Father's deed of partnership in business.

- Company's Chamber of commerce certificate.

- Annual Tax return.

- Tax payment reciept.etc

CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT OTHER'S SPECIFIC DOCUMENTS

SHOULD I SUBMIT AS EVIDENCE OF SPONSER'S BUSINESS.

  1. First off, it will be harder the second time, becuase you will have to check the 'have you applied before' box.

You need to submit a copy of your father's W2 or stock dividends (depending on how he is getting paid), and a copy of his bank statement would be helpful.

If you were able to meet the financial requirements, you should not have needed the affidavit of support.  Also, your income must be coming from the same source after you move (i.e.  trust funds, grants, ect.); any income from a job does not count.

There are three places in the US where you can do it in person (LA, Chicago and New York) and you will be able to speak with somebody in person - in case you need to expain anything.

    Good Luck.

  2. Looks like you failed to submit evidence of your father's bank statement, therefore no proof that he was in a position to support you.
