HELP.. router + wireless home network!?

i have a belkin wireless router using iinet in Australia. To this router is 2 desktops (one ethenet and one wireless) and one laptop. The laptop is my computer. I want to figure out how to block all access from other computers to my laptop, including all internet browsing history. Is there a good way to do this using internet explorer. if not will it work, me using safari browser?? will this stop other people on these other computers access my browsing history

  1. If you are using XP. Go into windows security center through the control panel and turn on the firewall. That should prevent outside attacks. You can also go into internet options under internet explorer and raise your privacy and security settings.  


  2. disable guest account, change admin account name and password protect your computer then no one can access it unless you leave it unlocked
