  1. Obviously the VET is the place you need to go.  If you honestly called the vet and told them what her symptoms were they would be able to squeeze her in because she is sick.  Call the vet again or go to a different one i don't care which just GET OFF THE INTERNET!

  2. going to the vet is the number one option in thi situation.

  3. puppies can get into anything,if she is throwing up you need to get her to the vet.

    I hope everything is ok

  4. She may have gotten into something in the house or yard so a through check would be a good idea. She also may just have a stomach thing which can be solved by giving children's Pepto-give the lowest dose. If none of that fits your situation she may be having an allergy to the food-a lot of dogs can't tolerate lamb or beef. Smaller dogs have a more sensative stomach and chicken or turkey is easier on their system. Try giving her plain white rice or plain yogurt for a few days and slowly add some of her food to it and see how she handles it. You can also get her unflavored Pedialite and give it to her through a med dropper just to keep her hydrated. If none of this works have her evaluated by a vet...good luck and I hope she gets better real soon:>)

  5. Get to the vet.Just because a dog has had its shots does not mean its 100% safe.Unless you had a teeters test and know that all the shots where accepted by this little body. When you buy a puppy it has a natural immunity that it picks up from its mothers milk (provided of course she has had all her shots) that immunity wares off at different times in different dogs .If she had her immunity up at the time a shot was given then her body could have sluffed the shot (it went away).A teeters test can answer that question for you.Get to the vet ASAP time runs out very fast for these little dogs.Tilks Mom

  6. I think in our state they cannot refuse treatment if you just show up with  your dog.. .not sure if thats true all over.

  7. Just as if you called a hospital, most Vets can not, nor will they offer a diagnosis of your animal w/out seeing him. You can sometimes still get valuable info if you have at least an idea of where to start. Seeing as your Yorky is only 10 mo's', even with his shots, Parvo is usually the place to start. I've included a link to study the symptoms. Parvo can take an animal out quickly and is also highly contagious so if you suspect it get your dog to the vet immediately. Pedilite is very effective in helping with the dehydration and will often help to keep the animal alive until he fights the disease himself. There are also some supplements your vet may prescribe along with the Pedialite. Try little drinks each time. Dogs like the taste and will often start to drink little bits at a time until they feel better. I am not a vet, but my Queensland survived the worst case her vet had ever seen.

    Hope your pup gets better.

  8. Vet Vet vet

  9. Ask your vet you know someone who can actually help your dog rather than strangers on the internet.

They don't charge for phone calls.

  10. If your vet says two days, you have the wrong vet.  Go to the next one, even if it's the next town away.  You have a very sick dog.  Your vet is irresponsible, and your dog has to rely on you.

  11. ... it could be that she needs a trip to YOUR VET!

  12. GO TO THE VET

  13. Any vet that cannot see a sick client for 2 days needs to be replaced!

  14. Hopefully she just has an upset stomach from eating something.  Does she also have diarrhea, fever, and seem very weak?  It could be parvo.  Keep an eye on her for a day or two.  Give her lots of fluids.  I had a puppy with parvo once and I gave her lots of Gatorade from a big syringe.  You can also give them human baby medicine to keep them from throwing up and to stop their diarrhea.  He survived, but it was rough while he was sick.  If she doesn’t improve in a day or so, you should take her to a vet.
