  1. you will need to take a sharp razor - like an exacto knife, and cut it out, then to the carpet store for a sample. Then glue the sample in.

Bring the burned pieces to the carpet store with you so they can help u match it.

  2. You're not likely to get it out... Most carpeting is made with nylon fibers, and essentially, you melted the carpet.  NOy much can be cone other than replacing that specific area with a new piece that matches (there's a specific kind of tape rug makers use that will halp-- check at a local carpeting store).  You could also find an inconspicuous area of carpeting in the home and trim some of the top fibers, and use special glue to adhere the clippings over the burn marks, but it will never look 'quite right' either way.

  3. Haha what i do when i stain my carpets is i take tweezers or nail clippers and just pull the individual strands of carpet out.

    good luck with that ;D

    Have a good day!!

    :D

  4. You can't get it out. You will have to cut out that piece of carpet and patch it with a matching piece.

  5. Burning is a chemical process and you can't undo "Burnt" It's like trying to "uncook" a burger. Impossible. You could try to cut the fibers in that area with a pair of scissors to remove the burnt fibers of the carpet. I did that once because I got bleach on my rug. It's less noticeable then. Just be careful. Also, you could get an area rug and put it over the damaged spot. I sense you are living with your parents (teenager) so perhaps the best thing would be to confront your parents first. Good luck!

  6. yeah, that just happened to me earliar today. it was only there for like 5 minutes, like yours. anyway, you really cannot get it out of the carpet. you can't clean it out either, cause its burned. what you have to do is cover it up with some kind of rug. i didn't want my mom to see it, so i got this pink rug and just put it over the burned spot. when my mom saw it, she was like, that rug looks good there. she'll never know i burned the carpet! :D try this... unless you don't care what your parents think. oh and if you have a few thousand dollars to spare, replace the carpet and never put your straightner down on carpet again!

  7. If it's not burned all the way through the carpet, Cut most of it out with a scissor or use a blade to scrape off what you can. If it did burn all the way through, cut the piece out, find an inconspicuous piece ( like maybe in the back of a closet) cut it out slightly bigger than the piece you cut out, and glue it into place but make sure the carpet fibers are in the same direction before you put it in place. If that fails, hire a professional they are very good at it or put a throw rug over it.  Good luck

  8. you dont idiot, it burned

  9. You are out of luck there.

  10. If the carpet is burned, you can't "get it out" like a stain.  If the fibers aren't burned too deeply, you can snip off the tips of the burned fibers.  If it goes deep into the carpet, there's really nothing you can do except replace the carpet or cover it with a throw rug.

  11. you can't get it out, i did the same thing a few months ago, once your carpet is burned you can't fix it, get a throw rug to put over it

  12. well not much chance of getting a burn out a carpet . once burnt is burnt

  13. You can't. Cut that piece out or get a new carpet or simply ignore it.

  14. How do you restore a burned piece of paper?  The same way, YOU DON"T. The carpet has to be replaced.

  15. Get Some spray paint(make sure you get the right color) fill it in and let it dry.

  16. you cant

  17. Oh man, same thing happened to me lol, and it burned the blanket i had next to it too...sorry nothing you can do.
