  1. put a sofa throw on top

  2. what about saddle soap or neatsfoot oil! used on saddles! Ask a tack shop!?

  3. If its black, exhaust pipe soot.

  4. Shoe polish then leather protector. Easy.

  5. A bit of shoe polish if you can find or mix a match on the colour. And use a throw until pup has lost his baby claws.

Oh, and watch out for him chewing when hes trying to lose his baby teeth

  6. Rub OrangeGLO on the scratch marks.

  7. This will depend on the type of leather you have.

If it is on a pigmented leather and the scratches are superficial you can use a product like Easy Colour to help disguise the damage.  If the damage has gone quite deep or the leather itself is torn you will need a pigment colour mixed to match your leather and this can then be used to rectify the problem.

If you have an anilne style leather (an absorbent one) you may find the scratches can be removed with a good leather protector.  On this type of leather if the finish has been damaged repair is much more difiicult to carry out and it would be best left to a qulaified tecnician to do.

  8. Go down the toy shop and buy a set of wax crayons.  Choose the one that's the nearest colour match.  (During cold weather, you need to warm the crayon by putting it in hot water - but you should be OK in July)  Scribble across the scratch with the crayon until it's full of wax.  Now polish it off with a soft cloth in the direction of the scratch.

Now bandage up your puppy's paws.

  9. Get rid of the puppy

  10. Depends where and how much he has damaged it.  If it's a small area, and isn't actually torn through, but just scratched and roughed up, my suggestion would be to (very very carefully) smooth the edges of the scratches with an emery board or a craft knife (don't damage surrounding leather as you do so!), to lessen the visual impact of the damage, then touch up the colour using a permanent marker / specialist touch up pen etc, and finally treat the whole sofa with a good leather polish / renovator.   If the area is too big, then you haven't got much choice - either get it professionally repaired, or buy a throw!  Best of luck, and remember - it's not the puppy's fault - there are no bad pets, only bad owners!
