HELP! what is wrong with my cat?

Every morning around 5 or 6 am my cat has these horrible attacks. She starts attacking her tail and is growling and hissing at herself. I dont know what could be wrong with her. Can any of you tell me what this might be? Oh yeah and she's 13 yrs. old if that helps any. Thanks

Some people say that older cats get their own form of senile. She's fine, just playing and getting older. No worries.

My old cat used to hiss at her tail too.

probably playing but when she is doing it clap your hands a few times if she stops its playing if not she could be having sezurs
