HELP! what would the penalty be for this?????????

underage consumption while driving open container and due care??? my friend was driving home and had a wreck....he has to go to court tomorrow....what is the procedure for a crime such as this? he spent the night in jail after the wreck. it was in georgia. thanks for your help.

I live in GA, and for a time before moving to the Savannah area, I served as a DI for a boy's home.

We had one boy there who had done basically the same thing.  If I remember correctly, he received sixteen months or until he turned 17, whichever came first.  In the end he served thirteen of the sixteen.
