  1. i wore contact lenses for years while swimming and in shower no problem so unless you don't need them wear them

  2. As said perviously, they may be washed out, and cholorine or salt water can also iniirate and infect your contacts.

However if you wear goggles, it's fine.

  3. Because they can easily come out and you will lose them...Also a chemical used in pool called Chlorine...I suppose if you used swimming goggles or as swim mask you would be alright...

  4. I recommend that you don't wear your contact lenses whilst swimming because there are bacteria in the water that can adhere to your lenses and cause infections. If you do swim with your lenses, make sure to wear goggles over them and to disinfect the lenses shortly afterwards.

  5. In my experience, it's because the fresh water in the pool will cause the lenses to become literally glued to my eyes. It's a very painful process to blink or try to remove them. You can swim while wearing contact lenses but be sure to wear swim goggles or a dive mask and remember that you are still wearing contact lenses.

  6. They can come off and you wont be able to find them in the water
