  1. the 'voice plan' is your basic monthly service plan.  You have to pay for that every month for the duration of the contract.   It also says you need to keep this fun 15 bundle (don't know what that is) for a year, and pay every month for that too, if you don't, they will bill you $99.

Don't focus on the free phone. Phone companies do this on purpose to get more money out of you... shop for a voice plan *first* and once you find the plan that fits your needs the best, then look at what phones will work for you.

eg. I paid $150 for my phone but it's only $35 a month for text/email/web...  the sales people insisted that I had to have a voice plan but I pushed the issue because it's for my DEAF wife.. she has no

use for voice... so I showed them that a data only plan was what I wanted,  he made a few phone calls and finally made it happen.

Add up my total for the two years and I'm paying much less than most plans with 'free' phones.

    shop around.

  2. A voice plan is the actual minutes you use talking.  I'm assuming the Fun 15 bundle has something to do with text messages or the internet.  Three years seems a little long.  Plus what else do they have to offer you?   I have a Sprint plan that only has a two year contract.  You can change your plan anytime and it won't renew your contract.  I think they offer the HTC Touch too.  Plus your are eligible to receive a $75 discount on a new phone after one year and a $150 discount on a new phone after two years with a new contract.  Their plans are great. They have ones that include unlimited minutes, text and data (internet) usage.  I would do some shopping around before you get the phone.  Once you sign that contract you are stuck for three years!

  3. My family has been with Verizon for ten years and we are happy with the service and price.  Almost all companies have phones for free when you sign up or upgrade, it just depends on the type of phone you want.  Shop around on line and take your time, most plans are two years plans.
