HELP! with adobe premiere pro!! :(:'(?

Question

i have connected my video camera to the computer via USB and i dont know how to get it on to premiere..

when i opened the video i downloaded with windows it wont play :S

and i tried to capture the video but the record button wont work :S

any ideas would REALLY be appreciated its a project more media A level and i cant get it to work :'(

the record probably wont work if you havnt rewound the tape , he he he he really an a level and you forget to rewind the tape ( unless you have in which case good luck )
